Hosting Chess Tournaments to Fight COVID
Checkmate COVID is an organization that hosts online chess tournaments to raise money for the fight against COVID. The winners of the tournament receive prize money that is donated to the COVID-relief charity of their choosing. We are looking for more sponsors and donations to help us raise more money for COVID relief, and we greatly appreciate any contributions!

ABOUT CHECKMATE COVID
Checkmate COVID was founded by Felix Kaye, Jack Jacobsen, and James Poetzscher, high schoolers in San Francisco interested in chess. We spent a lot of time playing chess during the coronavirus pandemic and decided that we could try to use our passion for chess to support coronavirus relief....
